Proteus took the unprecedented decision to reproduce beautiful historic racing cars using mainstream manufacturing techniques. This process started by scanning an original C-Type and creating a CAD model in industry-leading software Catia V5. From this foundation, cast iron production press tools were developed supported by manufacturing and assembly tools to ensure excellent repeatable quality.
